Briefly
A workbook generator that became much more useful once the output set grew up.
Boox Custom Templates started as a small generator, but the improved TuC set is now large enough to be worth showing: 560 practice PDFs, 560 answer-key PDFs, a 100-day plan PDF, manifests, bookmarks, and cleaner e-ink layouts.
The pages are practical workbook material: fractions, long division, surface area, review sheets, answer keys, and density-aware layouts that make sense on a Boox screen.
I still think of it as tooling rather than a flagship product. The difference now is that the generated output looks like something someone could actually use.
What I built
- Generated 560 practice PDFs and 560 matching answer-key PDFs across 56 subjects.
- The improved set adds a 100-day practice plan PDF, manifests, subject summaries, and PDF bookmarks.
- The latest page renderer uses larger cells and black-line visual models for denser e-ink math topics.
- Best shown as education tooling, not as a polished app.
A few notes
- The generated set includes the practice-plan PDF, representative practice pages, and answer keys.
- The improved output folder includes practice PDFs, answer keys, manifests, subject summaries, and Khan-order metadata.
- I am keeping the card modest: this is a generator and workbook output, not a finished commercial app.
